Our Review
We have offered our version of the traditional Indian Chai: Indian Spice for some time. However, people wanted it with a green tea base, so we re-thought the blend and made it a bit spicier than than the Indian Spice. People do enjoy this full-throated version. Most people do add some milk and sugar or honey.

Chai Hara (Green Chai)

We're happy to offer Chai Hara, a green tea version of our popular Chai tea. 'Hara' in Hindi means green, and ours features green tea with cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander and ginger. Many enjoy this blend with milk. Kosher.

My perfect chai Review by Bridget
Average Review:
I'm a long-time Harney's customer, and when the formula of the original Indian Spice (Chai) was changed, I thought I would have to search elsewhere for my favorite chai. Now I need look no further. The spice of the Hara Chai is bright and invigorating. With a spoonful of honey, it has the perfect sweetness and a creamy mouthfeel that needs no milk. A stellar tea both hot or on ice. Nice spice with less astringency Review by Tim
Average Review:
A very nice spice tea with less astringency than some black tea versions. Tea blend is broken leaves and spices. Aroma is light and spicy. Flavor is spicy, but not overpowering. Overall, a nice, light spice tea for anytime. (Posted on 4/1/16)

not my favorite Review by Critter Mom
Average Review:
I use filtered water so it is not that. Perhaps I do not have the correct mix of amount and brewing time. I do not care for the residue remaining even after brewing with a micro-filter. I am going to try mixing with a couple of traditional green teas I have to determine if I can get something palatable. If not, it will go to work with the other mistakes. (Posted on 8/29/15)

My #One Go To Tea Review by SmartysMom
Average Review:
Maybe I'm just not as educated a palate, but this is perfect. Spices just right, never bitter, perks me right up no matter how blah I'm feeling. Perfect iced or hot.

I have to think it might be the negative reviewers water? (Posted on 7/19/15)

I love this tea. The lightness of the green tea mixed with the chai spices makes a delicious brew. (Posted on 12/14/13)

Give it a try Review by Barb
Average Review:
I was skeptical after reading the one review, so I ordered a sample. It's often rainy and cold in Seattle and this tea suits me fine. I get no bitterness from the tea and a delightful mix of spices to perk me up. I'll add a tin to this order. (Posted on 6/12/13)

I'll pass Review by Jo
Average Review:
I love chai teas, but this one has issues. I can't find the magical brewing time where I get the spice from the chai part yet not make the green tea bitter. (Posted on 11/7/12)
