What does individually wrapped mean?
Each teabag is sealed in its own foil wrapper, which keeps the tea fresh until you open it. That makes a box easy to share: it can sit open in an office kitchen or a guest room, and a few teabags tuck easily into a bag for work or travel. Every tea in this collection comes wrapped this way, from Paris and English Breakfast to Egyptian Chamomile.
How much tea is in each wrapped teabag?
Our Paris, Hot Cinnamon Spice, English Breakfast, and Organic Earl Grey Supreme teabags each hold about 1.8 grams of tea, more than the 1.5 grams in a typical teabag. That comes to 90 grams of tea in every box of 50, and each teabag is sized for one 6 to 8 oz. cup.
Can I buy individually wrapped tea bags in bulk for an office?
Yes. The box of 50 is our largest box of teabags, and because each teabag is sealed, a box can stay open by the office kettle for everyone to share. A few different boxes cover a range of tastes: English Breakfast or Irish Breakfast for those who take milk and sugar, Japanese Sencha for green tea, and Organic Peppermint Herbal or Egyptian Chamomile for a caffeine-free cup.
Do individually wrapped tea bags make good gifts?
They do. Because each one is wrapped, you can tuck a few into a holiday card, a stocking, or a care package. Which herbal teas come in individually wrapped tea bags?
In our boxes of 50, the herbal teabags are Egyptian Chamomile, Lemon Herbal, Organic Peppermint Herbal, and Raspberry Herbal, all caffeine-free. Egyptian Chamomile is light-bodied, Lemon Herbal is built around lemongrass, Organic Peppermint Herbal is nothing but organic peppermint leaves, and Raspberry Herbal blends rosehips, hibiscus, and orange peel with raspberry flavor. Our boxes of 20 premium teabags are individually wrapped too and add herbals such as Hibiscus. For black tea with the caffeine removed, Decaf Ceylon and Decaf Earl Grey come in wrapped boxes of 50.
How is a wrapped teabag different from a premium teabag or a sachet?
Our wrapped teabags come 50 to a box, each sealed in foil, and each brews one 6 to 8 oz. cup. Our premium teabags are individually wrapped too and brew the same size cup, but they come 20 to a box, in a range that includes teas such as Chai and Hibiscus. A sachet brews a larger, 12 oz. cup and comes in tins, in bags of 50, and in boxes of 20 individually wrapped sachets.
