Amba Thieves Tea is handmade brisk black tea with a storied past. Years ago, all tea had to go to the owners. However some ladies plucked the tea and then made a crude and strong black tea in their hut. They were "Thieves." The tea willingly accepts milk and sugar. You'll find it lovely and lively.

This is a handmade black tea. Its story is that the tea plantation workers were prohibited from taking or making tea from their plantation. However, they loved tea and would steal some green leaves, when the managers were not looking. This tea was made in the kitchens of the workers.
Brownish-black broken leaves. This is made by hand, so the leaf size is irregular.
There are bright notes of roasted roasted citrus fruits with hints of dark honey.
A medium-bodied tea because the handmade leaves make a lighter cup than other Ceylons.
