I am in my fourth pound of this tea. Big fan of Oolongs and while I have over 150 teas in my collection, this year’s harvest is extraordinarily good and is now my go to. Brews nicely for multiple infusions changing time and heat setting for each brewing with different but wonderful flavor profiles.
I have suffered from migraines for years and am always looking for natural remedies to add to my arsenal, so when I read the reviews where others said that they used this tea to lessen their migraine impacts I had to try it. I'm now on my third tin of tea and make sure to reorder as soon as I start to get low, so I never run out. Clean flavor with a wonderful relaxing impacts.
I've started trying oolong teas because I wanted the benefits, but didn't like the "cut hay" aroma of green teas. I tried this tea this morning and it's fantastic. I could geniunely feel the difference from other teas. What they say about "gamma-aminobutyric acid" seems to be quite true. A least in my subjective experience, it was a really different from the ordinary caffeine boost. I'm usually quite skeptical about things like this, and had a "we'll see" attitude when i tried this. It also has a really nice "finished" flavor that I like, very different from black tea. Not sure how to describe it.
Not exactly sure what I expected but it's a good tea. I think I just prefer a more oolong flavor, as this feels more floral to me. It doesn't give me the jitters that other teas do. I would prefer they made a bagged version, though.
