Details:A certified organic sencha from Japan, with a light but enjoyable cup.
Dry Leaves:The leaves are medium green and shorter in length than other Senchas. This tea comes from the same valley as Matsuda's Sencha, so the microclimate (or terroir) and the traditions make it possible to make good Sencha.
Liquor:The liquor has a light, clear green color because the tea is steamed in a regular manner, as opposed to being deep-steamed.
Aroma:This tea has an aroma of lightly steamed vegetables like spinach. Since it is organic, the aromas will be lighter. In comparison to conventional tea, there are fewer amino acids.
Flavors:Organic Sencha has agreeable vegetal flavors, but the volume is turned down. It comes from a great area, so the tea does have some amino acids and antioxidants to make an agreeable tea, just less of them.

However, finding Japanese-produced organic teas can sometimes be challenging. Teamakers often feel that they can't make good tea without adding nitrogen. Nitrogen is present in every amino acid, including those in your body. Amino acids give Sencha their body, or umami, and they also add sweetness to the brew.
