Tonganagaon epitomizes the flavors of full leaf assams, with bright, grainy aromas and brisk malt flavors. Where it strays from the norm is in its sweet notes, which carry more of an earthy, light sweet note as if you were chewing on a cane sugar root.

Due to the ups and downs this past growing season, this Assam tea is milder than what we expect. However, it has a smooth cup and a nice sweetness.
Dark brown leaves and russet, gold tips.
Dark bourbon brown
Bright notes of soaked grains.
Mellower than the aroma, notes of malt and soft, sweet flavors of cane sugar root.
