Our Review
Namring is a huge estate (even by Darjeeling’s standards) with large changes in elevation. So the estate is divided into Namring and Namring Upper. This tea is from the Upper part of Namring, which generally makes the better teas. So it was in 2013, when Darjeeling estates struggled to make a drinkable tea. We tasted and tasted and were happy to find this lovely tea. Second Flush is the later season that is made in June and the flavors are darker than the greener First Flushs made in the spring.

Namring 2nd Flush 2014

Once can count on Namring to make very good teas, even during a trying season. This was one of the very few Darjeelings that has cooked fruit and muscatel flavors.
