Bangkok

While we call it Bangkok, the Thai people refer to their capital as Krung Thep. Whatever name it goes by, Bangkok -- much like Tokyo -- is a very modern city with a lot of history and tradition. With Buddhism as the main religion, the city is filled with “wats” or temples that are a must-see.

Bangkok not only offers what other major cities do -- world-class shopping, cuisine, architecture, art, etc. -- but it is also a wonderful beach destination for a tropical getaway. If you like to get a tan during the holidays, Bangkok might become your new favorite beach vakay!

London

Oh, iconic London! So well-known and beloved in literature, movies, tv shows (Downton Abbey, anyone?) and more. Home to the royal family, palaces, polo matches, cricket and football (which is soccer), world-class museums and gardens and inspiration for so many artists. Plus, those British accents! Don’t we all secretly wish we had one?

This global metropolis is a major finance center and one of the biggest tourist attractions in the world, which would explain why they have more 5-star hotels than any other city in the world. Also, London is perhaps the only city in the world where the residents have nicknamed a skyscraper “The Gherkin” due to its resemblance to a pickled cucumber. That British humor!

When you think of Dublin, do happy thoughts come into your head? They should! The capital of Ireland is a welcoming city full of spirit and history. Or should we say spirits and history? We’ll say both. And while they are famous for loving their Guinness and whiskey, during the daylight hours they’re drinking tea, and lots of it!

From those pubs you’ve dreamed of hoisting a pint in to ancient castles to beautiful scenery, arts, parks, cobbled streets and modern architecture, Dublin is a bit like visiting the set of a favorite movie. It’s easy to understand why it’s one of the world’s favorite tourist destinations.
