Description

Kenilworth is a wonderful Ceylon black tea, featuring large leaves and full oxidation. Grown halfway up the Central Highlands in the western Dimbula area, it's a "medium-grown" tea. The moderate climate produces a liquor that's neither brisk like highland teas nor bold like lowland ones. The especially smooth, rose-brown liquor has made Kenilworth Garden a consistent favorite with our Ceylon drinkers.

 Details: Kenilworth is one of Sri Lanka's oldest and most distinguished tea estates, in the Central Highlands. Its neat, well-kept gardens produce this wonderfully mellow, full-leaf black tea with a smooth, roasted-honey character.
 Dry Leaves: Brown-black leaves, long and elegantly twisted.
 Liquor: Kenilworth brews up a lovely rose brown.
 Aroma: Sharp, bright notes of wood and warm honey.
