Our Review
This is an old blend done over ten years ago. Our Peaches & Ginger is a popular black tea blend. So we thought, "Formosa Oolong has peach notes, lets add some ginger root." Thus Ginger's oolong was born.
Dry Leaves Dark brown leaves.
Liquor The ginger in this tea makes the liquor slightly darker, a medium brown.
Aroma The oolong provides the dark peach notes and the ginger gives spicy aromas.
Caffeine Level Caffeinated
Body The oolong is medium bodied.
Flavors The subtle flavors of peaches and toasted nuts are nicely contrasted by the ginger.
Brewing Time 4 to 5 minutes
Brewing Temperature 205° F

Another wonderful oolong!
Average Review:

I love a ginger and peach combination in most any tea, but especially in this oolong that is peachy by nature. The ginger is flavorful, but not overdone, and I can steep twice. Also, because it has no added sugar to flavor it, there’s no cost to my daily intake of calories. I can drink with abandon. High quality tea without a high price tag, and the health benefits of an oolong tea. Thanks to such great options at Harney & Sons, I’m able to eliminate from my daily routine the “flavored” teas of other companies that are made so because of the dried fruit. I don’t really need that added sugar (even though fruit sugar is healthier than other kinds, yes), and I get all that I need in a tea from this oolong and the Pomegranate Oolong. Great deal all the way around! Wouldn't change a thing.

Barely a hint of ginger
Average Review:

I love ginger. That is why I was deeply disappointed in this tea. I had this tea at a restaurant once and it had a strong taste of ginger. I can only assume that the recipe was different then or that the restaurant added something to it. Having had such a great experience before, when I finally decided to purchase it online, I couldn't wait to get it. After tasting the first cup, I looked into the mug with a perplexed look on my face. It was extremely bland to the point it tasted like a non-flavored oolong. I thought maybe I didn't get the right mix of leaves and ingredients so I mixed it up a little and made several more cups with the same result. Only once have I been able to taste even a hint of ginger. I contacted H&S with the lot number of my tin. They taste tested it and said everything is fine with that lot. If that is the case, I don't see how they can give this tea a name containing the word ginger. I have decided to give away what I have remaining.
