Kenilworth is a wonderful Ceylon black tea, featuring large leaves and full oxidation. The especially smooth liquor has made the famous Kenilworth Garden, north of the Dimbula area, a consistent favorite with our Ceylon drinkers.

||Kenilworth is one of the oldest tea estates in Sri Lanka. Halfway up the Central Highlands, Kenilworth is considered a " Medium Grown" tea so the weather there is moderate, not as hot as down in the plains, but not cool like in the peaks. Kenilworth is the western tea section, known as "Dimbula". This estate is always a joy to visit. Everything is neat and tidy, unlike most tea estates. All of this helps to explain why the estate makes full leaf tea and that it is wonderfully mellow.
