Kenya Milima is Africa's most elegant black tea, with golden tips reminiscent of fine Assams. Produced with traditional methods at high altitude, this tea is light in body and tends toward citrus, overall a mellow brew. This tea led the way to Africa's emergence as a quality supplier.

Details: Milima is Swahili for "in a high place." The tea plants that produce this tea grow at more than six thousand feet above sea level in the Kenyan Highlands. The leaves take on lovely flavors in the cool air and rocky soil. Unlike most teas in Africa, Milima is produced in the Orthodox method, so the leaves look like most of our other teas. Milima has led the revolution in Africa of making tea in the Orthodox method. We now offer a few choices of African teas, unlike five years ago.
Dry Leaves: Small dark brown leaves with golden tips interspersed.
    Liquor: Deep reddish brown.
Aroma: A mixture of citrus and grass with faint clove notes.
