Our Organic Assam is a rich, full-leaf, medium-bodied black tea. It has a slightly lighter liquor with a sweet honey flavor.

 Details: Assam is located on both sides of the Brahmaputra River in India. This estate is located on the northern side of the river. It is hot and moist, ideal conditions for insects. Organic gardens are rare in Assam. The teas generally do have the golden tips found in the best Assams. Without tips, the sweet honey flavors are missing.
 Dry Leaves: Dark brown leaves.
 Liquor: A slightly lighter liquor than other Assams due to the fact that it is organic.
 Aroma: The aromas are a muted version of other Assams, subtle roasted malt notes.
 Flavors: The flavors are bittersweet roasted malt.
 Caffeine Level: Caffeinated
 Body: Medium-bodied, being a full-leaf Assam. Since there are a limited number of golden tips, the heft is good.
 Brewing Time: 4 to 5 minutes
 Brewing Temp: 212º
