Royal Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemum has been enjoyed as a caffeine-free tisane in China for centuries, prized as much for its bright golden blooms as for the cup they make. This one comes from Anhui Province in central China, a region with a long reputation for cultivating chrysanthemum among its many teas and botanicals. The large, showy blossoms were the reason we bought it: they look almost regal, which is how this tisane earned its name. Being an herbal, it has no caffeine at all, making it a fitting choice for the evening or any time you want a floral cup without the lift.
